Founded in 2023 under Lions Clubs International, the Leo Club of Colombo Hogwarts operates as a non-profit organization with strong community values. Spearheaded by President Leo Akila Weragoda and Vice President Leo Lion Senula Deelana, and with guidance from esteemed figures like PDG Dr. Lion Lasantha Goonewardene and Leo Lion Binuja Amaranayaka, the club has swiftly grown to encompass 100 dedicated members aged 18 to 30. Embodying the theme "Together We Achieve Greatness," the club focuses on community engagement and empowerment. Their initiatives bridge urgent gaps in society, reflecting a resolute commitment to driving positive change.

Reflecting on my Leo journey, I am truly grateful for the growth and leadership it has fostered in me. My path began as an Alpha Leo at the Leo Club of Ananda College, where I was honored to serve as Vice President and earn the title of Outstanding Club Vice President in Leo District 303C2. I owe special thanks to my President, Leo Suran Senanayake, and my fellow Ananda Leos for their constant support and inspiration. A special acknowledgment goes to PDG Dr. Lion Lasantha Gunawardana for his invaluable guidance throughout my journey. Later, as an Omega Leo, I had the privilege of joining the Leo Club of Colombo Hogwarts, thanks to the invitation from Leo Senula Deelana, then the 1st Vice President. I am also grateful to the President at that time, Leo Akila Weragoda, for his support. After serving as Second Vice President, I am now deeply honored to step into the role of Club President for a second year. I look forward to furthering the spirit of service and camaraderie within our club, strengthening our bond as a family, and making an even greater impact in our community.
